tiny bit rushed, but it didn't exactly feel like an ending anyway and kind of just leaving it open for CONTROL 2 and Alan Wake 2 so it's fine tbh.
Definitely play Alan Wake before this. And play this before Alan Wake II because it gives you SOOO much important context lol

The directing goes pretty hard, especially during the Alan Wake DLC.
Not the most extensive power system ever in terms of combat, but the traversal powers and metroidvania mapping style were really cleverly implemented.

@Jheni_Azuos But of course there are exceptions. High-level monsters can speak the human language and can control their powers as well (such as Elysia & Mei). but Mei is still a small monster who has gone through different circumstances that make her dislike getting close to humans .
