Richard Dadd, Sketch to Illustrate the Passions: Grief or Sorrow (1854)
'Come Unto These Yellow Sands' by Richard Dadd, 1842. Completed shortly before he lost his mind on the Nile River. Believing he was possessed by the god Osiris, he stabbed his father to death, and spent the rest of his life painting in a lunatic asylum.
