サーバインが登場するのは
New Story of Aura Battler DUNBINE
という三話型式のOVA。
特徴的なのがオーラバトラーの作画。
セル画ではなくハーモニー処理という背景の様な緻密な作画を紙芝居のように動かすという斬新な表現。
劇中のサーバインはその効力でメカというよりも巨大な石像の様な質感。

I have to admit at the beginning it think Dunbine are the typical mecha series but when return to Earth and see the power of the armament in just one unit and now the entire army on Earth. Wow

The Queen Mansa from Gundam ZZ does feel like it is descended from the of an Aura battler from Dunbine. It is not lost on me that it is piloted by Puru II who is sometimes called a Fairy.

On the right is designed by Izubuchi, Queen Mansa is designed by Mika Akitaka (MS Girl)

On the 25th of February 1988, the 1st episode of New Story of Aura Battler Dunbine was released. The 3 episode OVA series was a sequel to the Dunbine TV series. It debuted in SRW 4 (SNES) in 1995.

Little Witch Academia's debut in late 2017. The 1st Trigger anime to debut in SRW & it was done to promote the LWA Chamber of Time game. LWA was even paired with Gurren Lagann & Dunbine for the event story.
