I'm going to get a lot of hate on this but I'm playing Switch games on a emulator, despite I legit have the system. The reason is that my family is paying important stuff plus another that I can't say cause it's too personal hence why I can't buy Switch games lately.

Contemplating running Mercenaries on an emulator, but I'm worried it won't be as good as I remember, it was one of the things that kindled my interests
Was thinking about some other Pokemon I like and these definitely come close! I love normal Braviary, but I adore the colors in this form! I had a Pidgeot named Pato and I really miss him, I had him on an emulator though so I'm never getting him back lol

@MonstersGo So yeah. Everyone launch their favourite VICE emulator. Go to Settings -> VIC-II and choose your favourite palette. (Or define your own.) Then break out those CRT controls and crank that saturation up to your hearts content. Let those reds explode on the screen.

@MonstersGo When I was a kid, and had a real C64, it was the early PAL model, with slightly different palette to all later revisions. So I've never been entirely happy with the default emulator colours. The first thing I do with VICE is change the palette to Pepto NTSC Sony. I like that one.
@miggybaz @KariLawler At some point other, fancier icon formats started to take over (new/rom/png-icons), but I just liked sticking to the old MagicWorkbench set. It came with a ton of nice defaults, and Aminet has so many more. And stuff like the emulator and half the game drawers I did myself. 😎
