Over the Garden Wall piece for Gallery1988's Idiot Box show in 2018. Stylistically, I was going for a midway point between Gustave Dore's Divine Comedy etchings and the warmer American Pastoral look of the show.
☄️My last 4 mints are all aquatint etchings ☄️

Another MetaZoo: Nightfall card—Smokey Spirits! Was gonna do a cut, faceted glass bottle, but when I was asked to add a bunch of occult symbols to it, I changed to have bubbles along the sides with space for etchings. Look close; you can see the faces of more ghosts still inside!
These framed and glazed etchings are by British artist Michael Ayrton (1921 – 1975).
These distinctive etchings will feature in our Silver & Fine Art Auction on 2nd December.

SEVEN DEVILS was an aha moment for me. I think the labyrinth etching contributed well to the meaning and feel of the piece and it was my fav part to make. Now all I want is push my etchings further. I put the traditional drawing too coz i like the balance of the raw drawing too. https://t.co/TA4Kulq6sO

It's officially spooky season. 🦇
In his 1853 etching "The Vampire," Charles Meryon captures an atmosphere of gloom. A Notre-Dame gargoyle towers over the city, surrounded by a foreboding flock of birds.
