I had a back up pair of studio headphones I never used. They are ATH 140's. However for the past 3 years I've used the same 140 model and I noticed I can hear lower frequencies better switching to the newer one. I think I wore out my old ones to where I couldn't hear my bass

Okay so the audiothing blindfold EQ is a free plugin and I think it's great. It doesn't even tell you the frequencies you are boosting or cutting, you have to rely on your ears. I think it really helps me mix better.
