Idk about you, but I really appreciated the darker/grittier Sonic comics. They had stakes and conflict that made the stories interesting. Sonic and friends had character development. The new comics are great, but a formulaic/lighthearted story set up won’t hold up for long imo.

These are designs for Sigrid's caretaker, Albert Moreau. Initially, I went for a more distinguished, businessman-like design. The second rougher, grittier design is a better fit for the themes and tones I'm going for with this concept.
