@_tyedied was the source of inspiration for this evenings late night #b3d experiments. Learned quite a bit about volume scatter in cycles and general lighting/composition stuff. Got the dude model from @TurboSquid, from a modeller called "Niyoo".

@IdolTr4sh As part of my new business venture as a vtuber modeller, I have made my 2nd avatar. This one was free, I was offered compensation upfront, but I declined. Mainly because I was thinking of starting my own company and asking the client to work for said company. What could go wrong?
@csims314 I have yeah, it's really great. I just haven't been able to recreate the shader from a few years ago in unreal recently. I'm not a coder/shader guru, I'm a 3D Modeller/Animator so trying to figure it out is tricky. This is what I had a few years ago:

I've found an artist and a 3D modeller so I'll be taking the plunge into an original model in the next few months! It'll also involved some level of redesign, as I always intended to have a more polished 'main' design. I'll be doing a Shark Tank pitch soon, I'm hype.
@dunspark The outliner view of a bunch of bones and constraints in a big crab I rigged for a group project in uni.

@SurfWilde 2/2 after that id keep duplicating the orignal shape and then either isolate parts manually with the zmodeller brush or use the split/ trim tools to make other kinds of shapes. Since its all coming from the original shape then the contour should remain pretty much the same too
