This #MolluscMonday, we (finally) have the Larger Pacific Striped Octopus. Besides being a social octo, I've heard this guy has poked shrimp on their far side to trick them into swimming toward its mouth and dressed as Cruella DeVil for Halloween.

The star of this week's #MolluscMonday is the Banded Piglet Squid! This guy lives in the deep sea, is translucent, swims upside down, has photophores under its eyes, was voted most eccentric in his class, and is mostly a mystery.

Happy #molluscmonday from this little Striped Pajama Squid! Perhaps the most fashionable cephalopod, this bobtail squid rocks the B/W look and an understated brown/purple color when feeling the need to blend in with rocks and coral.
Sepioloidea lineolata
tumblr killed the lore post for these mollusc dragon friends but the post is mirrored here: https://t.co/KEtoC9ZWiV if you wanna learn about how they devour the soon-dead and make great friends.

Ein Molluscoidhorn wurde im Stream von @FetterZocker gesichtet! Was das wohl bedeuten könnte? Vielleicht ein Hinweis auf einen Spielerelease? Mysteriös :3

Today I'm learning about Jean Baptiste Verany, who founded Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Nice. He was a pharmacist and naturalist who painted molluscs and cephalopods:
Oystercatchers are spectacular pied #waders with orange bills, that feed on their namesake, #oysters and other molluscs. In India, they visit beaches and mudflats along the coasts in winter months.
