I think it might have something to do with their eyes
cuz unlike other octolings, they don't have as heavy black eye rings around their eyes

purple fingertips? i think the purple in her design is just to contrast her yellow ink. as for the fingertip coloration itself: its something weve previously seen on octolings but not on inklings... perhaps with new cultural integration, inklings have learned how to as well?

While off-duty with nothing to do, an decided to have some fun by herself and did some acrobatics. She climbed atop a crate and did a perfect handstand worthy of a ten out of ten from the other Octolings. She's one flexible octo-gal, yup.
