WORK IN PROGRESS of the repaint from 2010. I’ve done a lot more since I took the wip shit but don’t want to show it yet :)

Inspired by an Alex Ross post, let me see the oldest artwork you can find next to one of your most recent. I'll start.

First is from highschool, second is from a couple weeks ago.

It’s amazing how much can change in just 2 years 💦 will hopefully render this out fully! (Right pic is from Inktober 2018)

I did the redraw of this because it was my first digital drawing. I felt lost and I wanted to see if I was really making progress.

I guess I got my answers, what do you think

Enjoy this

I love how this turned out definitely my favorite redraw I've done!

Also check out the speedpainting and hear why I think all artist should redraw old work: https://t.co/TBd6qLl3AJ

Perdón por la mala calidad del primero, es la única foto que tengo de ese dibujo😅

2008 -> 2020

Something I've been slowly picking at for months while warming up! I've been itching to redraw some characters from old sketchbooks. I'll probably color it after I finish my current queue. 🎨🖌

A couple of weeks ago I deleted the app from my phone and tbh, it feels good. Never interacted much with anyone, was more of a lurker anyway.

Anyhow, here's some
Comparing the oldest drawing I have saved vs my newest.

Repainting an old artwork. I needed this to boost my confidence and to make myself feel like I am really getting better at this.
It's really easy to get wrapped up in the social media stuff, always comparing yourself to others, thinking that you are not good enough.
