I suppose it must bug the shit out of you that Mickey Mouse doesn’t have 5 fingers since that too is inconsistent with human anatomy. Also, anthropomorphism is giving human characteristic to non-human things. There is no hard rule as to how far you have to go.

What size should these be? All I can think of that would affect the decision is that they're predatorily similar to grizzlies (omnivorous too), and males butt heads. Should there be sexual dimorphism to the size?
