Happy Wednesday!

I've got a bunch going on, I've been worldbuilding as always adding to the two regions I've been working a lot on recently; Ashina and Treton.

Also I completed artwork for my gnome (left), and I'm redoing the other party members from old artwork (right)

Depends on where they're from and for.
I often use a name generator to pick out parts of a name I like or just to get the ol'noggin working again

But I've also been worldbuilding, so I have a couple of regions with specific languages and names

hey hey here is a little drawing of winter since we are in the middle of December and the cold and snow are already present in certain regions.
– Yamato belongs to Eiichiro Oda.

setting: any region you want, i was thinking one of the older regions bc the vibes (there'd still be mons from up to gen 9) but you can also make up your own.

Some more variations on the Poisson disk walkers! Cranking up the stroke width seems to an interesting method for coloring regions, not entirely sure if it's useful for anything yet 🤔

Sekhyar hails from the southern regions, so he is delighted with the falling snow flakes from the sky.
Izuna is perplexed. ❄️🦎☕️

The Cockatrice is an eerie, repulsive hybrid creature and is found in temperate to tropical regions, both above and below ground. They can inflict wounds with their beaks, but their touch will turn flesh to stone...⚔️

Who's this handsome fellow?! A lithograph after a drawing by James Clark Ross (1800-62) this snowy arctic fox appears in Ross's 'A voyage of discovery and research in the southern and Antarctic regions, during the years 1839-43' (London: 1847).

This one is tough since it can be challenging to separate the regions from the games themselves. I'd say Alola because the world itself is so distinct from the rest of the series and sells how deeply tied Pokemon are to the way the world functions.

Favorite Regions) Galar, Unova(BW2), Paldea

BATnivia and Spirit Blossom Yorick ... the program has provided me codes for both :]

Like/Retweet if you want either one and I'll dm the winners/ask them which code they prefer.

(Codes work for all regions!)

eg Devdasi, dancing girls, tawaif community; known with various names in regions across globe, but here too excelled as patrons of Arts, culture, social morality

All in one post of concept art for Beyond the Western Regions! It’s so much fun creating action scenes for this new series as a way of visualizing story beats. 🚀✨

8. If I'm being honest, I don't really find the regions to be fun to explore, minus Hisui and Paldea. Paldea's open world setting just works and it makes every corner of the region worth exploring, since you'll always get something new.

You might be asking: why is the werewolf so many different garish colors?
The answer is simple: color mapping.
By mapping out different regions in a specific color, even if they aren't normally colored differently, you can very easily tell which regions make up which shapes.
