Vince Guaraldi was gone too young at 47; no piano like his. Kid Detective seems light and often humorous but it really stuck with me. Byrne’s Doom Patrol followed an extremely creative and inventive Morrison run, but I liked Byrne’s more traditional approach.
I had fun drawing this. It's nice to imagine them as highschoolers and witness their shenanigans. XD
The idea behind this piece is: Joseph is a transfer student, and Caesar is the delinquent of the school who no one dares to approach. :)

@sadboykenobi @OrwellNGoode Shimajiro is a good show overall in Japan but unfortunately the show never get the western approach. It's getting worse if you research it from A to Z. I'm also not a psychologist but I will use my skill to see their behavior in order to smoother my investigation.
@PatrickZircher Keeping things loose helps me with likenesses, here's a Kylo from my days with Disney merchandise, the version with Adam's face was nixed in favor of the helmeted version, for royalty reasons, I'm sure. I think I managed to capture him fairly well with a loose approach.
Conversely, I feel that supers design is still firmly entrenched in the "kitchen sink" approach. While there's nothing WRONG with this, but I wonder what avenues are being overlooked as a result?
