@VrixTweets Fellini Satyricon - source material is a comic proto-novel from the Roman empire which we only have fragments of - and Fellini as always casts diverse and incredible looking people, its my favorite antiquity film, and arguably, the most accurate. Also, this nipples-out minotaur.

Fellini Satyricon (1969)
BTD - Federico Fellini - FELLINI SATYRICON - 1969 - Polish release poster
In Petronius' satirical novel, the Satyricon (A.D. 60s), Trimalchio recited a poem to the effect that life was short and should be enjoyed before becoming a skeleton like the one he displayed. This lovely Roman miniature bronze skeleton may have been used in the same manner.
These shots from #zorba made me think of another scene - in #satyricon - this, too, is a widow with a new lover. #classcin17
While v different films, crowd shots give scope of characters + represent space in plays occupied by a chorus #ClassCin17 #satyricon #chiraq
Fellini's #satyricon certainly lives up to its name - filled to the brim with all things bacchanalian. #ClassCin17
