I've always liked the idea of summonable weapons appearing by like... drawing in shattered particles from seemingly nowhere. That in itself could be some sort of attack too... Summoning a weapon with your hand pointed at somebody and watching the reverse shrapnel effect shred em!

Roy has 3 main scars - two on his face(eyebrow-dragon tail, jaw-shrapnel) and one on his abdomen(bitten by a dragon). The ones on his face left him terribly self conscious(they make his smile a little crooked), and he hardly ever smiles around people that aren't Richie.
