Richard Lord Howe and Mary Lady Howe, a pair of paintings by Thomas Gainsborough circa 1763. Richard was 37. Mary was 31. The painting of Richard is not the one we usually see, which was painted by John Singleton Copley in 1794 when Richard was a 68 year old admiral.
