I skipped the teen shelves straight to the adult section of the library I went to, as I liked the covers more than what was being published for YA at the time! Both these books heavily inspired my writing. I read them multiple times throughout my mid-teens :)

Lol. Well, she actually dressed casually to begin with. She was an anthropomorphic version of a character that I designed when I was in my teens and a expression of how I dressed when I was younger.
