The Vale of Wales, Ch 10, Pg 38; Chwennych is a Welsh term meaning 'to covet or long for'. In Welsh folklore, there are instances of Fae taking humans & keeping them for long periods of time. In VOW, it's a concept taught in Annwn's schooling, even after the May Day Scandal.
@SkaavArt Hi, I’m Lucy! I run Vixen Comix, which is currently producing The Vale of Wales, a webcomic all about Welsh mythology & good vs evil. This is the last pg of the prologue from Aug 2019 vs June 2021. My lighting & shading are different these days, that’s for sure 😄🏴🦌🧝♀️
