DID YOU KNOW? The T-65B X-WING STARFIGHTER was envisioned by Incom Corporation as a fighter with both the speed and power to take on Imperial Star Destroyers. Incom had first designed the X-wing for use by the Imperial Navy. Continued 👇👇

Un episodio más de tirando de nostalgia con la aparición de una nave icónica del universo como son los X-wings.

A parte, acompaño este tweet con el arte más que destacable que ha a acompañando a los credistos del final.

"...then the Y-Wing hit the SLAMs and tried to reverse, like I haven't seen that one before. I roll left before he can spin up the cannon and my drift lines up him AND the X-Wing that was on me-

Wha...? Am I trying to impress you...?

...Is it working?"

I spent a really long time drawing this X-Wing to get it perfect. Started back in March! Making a 2D drawing FEEL heavy is a really tough trick to pull off and I’m very proud of what I accomplished here.

My poster is on sale until Sunday, Oct 18th: https://t.co/XWZTYtQzF0

Got stupid giddy and giggly in VR when I looked out over my shoulder and watched the S-Foils open up :3

Just started Squadrons but I'm already drunk on the X-Wing vs Tie Fighter nostalgia.

Are you playing STAR WARS SQUADRONS? Here is a quick review of the atmospheric speeds some of these starfighters could achieve: X-WING: 1,050 km/h. A-WING: 1,300 km/h. U-WING: 950 km/h. TIE FIGHTER: 1,200 km/h. TIE INTERCEPTOR: 1,250 km/h. TIE BOMBER: 850 km/h

Michael A. Stackpole was inspired by a mission from the X-Wing 1993 game for the opening chapter of his novel X-Wing (1996).

Me, I plunged into starfighters battles with the short stories, written by Rusel DeMaria, offered with X-Wing (1993) and TIE Fighter (1994).

What's your top 4?

PROTO-X-WING by Ryan Church (Arc-170). The ARC-170 was manufactured by Incom Corporation & Subpro, it saw usage starting the Galactic Empire, but was eventually phased out by the newer TIE line. Some found their way into the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

They’re pretty fun games, more arcady than the old X-Wing/Tie-Fighter games, and introduced awesome new characters and starfighters like Nym and his bomber ‘The Havoc’.

I’d love to do a story with Nym as a guest character, I have an outline. ( I recall telling you.)

Damn yeaaah. I'm a huge fan of the wargame X-Wing Miniatures and they really nailed the feel and moves in there. Excited to finally fly an interceptor in cockpit!

Thanks for this! Here’s some recent stuff I’m proud of, along with an X-Wing from last year (yep- it’s all fanart)
