I saw a post about which sonic characters people find hard to draw and a good chunk said Shadow. I personally never found him too bad until I have to add his weird hot sauce marks..

Anyway it reminded me that I never posted this lol. It's over a year old, but I like it!

Well done Matthew for sending in this great pen sketch of an eye using mark making such as cross hatching to create depth and suggest areas of shadow. Popped this through Photoshop Express to show some possibilities available

One of beasts and shadow...

Experimenting with using more greys in this one, how did I do?

My friend have released an ebook lately. The Sapphire Shadow. And it's pretty damn good! https://t.co/cKZbMmrxyZ Might as well post some sketches I did when I read his early draft back in 2018.

Couldn't sleep, so I did one more -- 's suggestion, THE SHADOW. Several people have insisted to me that they remember me drawing a Shadow story at some point, but I never have. I say they may be confusing him with the Spirit, but they say no. Mandela effect? Who knows...

I understand it must be hard, especially if you seem to be in someone else’s shadow.

I tried to make a drawing using light and shadow. I wasn't really inspired to do the drawing, but I think the colors were good.
