I have so much trouble being dynamic, actually using darker, nearly white and black coloring
But I think I've done a good job improving! And...finding lots of references that make me think.

in early 2021 I had qualities that would be issues for me now (stiffer poses, different facial proportions, less willingness to redraw, not drawing limbs thick enough, etc.) that started improving after about July or August, like here’s a sketch each from January & December 2021

2020 vs 2022

2020 was me tryna experiment w somewhat realistic shading and it was just 💀💀 I also dused to slap a darker saturated shade for shading rather than using different colors. I'm still improving but I'm happy with how far my art has gotten.
