Frog

One of my favorite things about JRPGs, especially older ones, are the playable anthropomorphic characters. Usually beasts and dragon type characters, in CT you get a frog warrior, and frogs are top 3 animals for me, plus his sprite is too awesome!

I finally beat Xenoblade 2 the other night and I just gotta say, what a spectacular game. Really wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. The world, music, characters, story, gameplay, it's just all so dang good. Easily one of my fave JRPGs👌

If you love JRPGs and huge open world areas to play in, I would highly suggest you play Xenoblade Chronicles. Not only is it on the Wii, but it's in 3D on the New3DS, and as a virtual console on the Wii U.
The plot and gameplay are truly amazing.

Dwarves, Elves and Orcs are cool and all, but I always think JRPGs had the best fantasy races. The character design for Breath of Fire 2 was so on point.
