Yeah, I was wondering why they didn't use Daisy Lu, or Honey Bunny? The story would have still worked that way without needing to white wash Bosco and Honey, being so obscure by the 90's & being rejuvenated by the appreciation people had of her old cartoons.

I switched to pen-and-ink for over a year and it rejuvenated me. I used black-and-white to experiment with compositions, to tackle new subject matter, to try being funny, dramatic, cool, etc. I challenged myself to draw things that I *specifically* didn't know anything about.

Ignych is a combination of "Ignite" and the Greek word "Nychos" (Claw).

Nychos is based on Afrovenator, a Megalosaurid theropod that lived in Middle Jurassic period in Africa, hell even its name translates to "African Hunter". It also draws minor inspiration from Dracovenator.
