Crossing the External Gate opens the Mutants to Otherworldly tribulations. Writers Jonathan Hickman & Tini Howard, Artist Pepe Larraz, Colorist Marte Gracia: Even at 64 pages, this opening act of X of Swords is still fairly taut and engrossing. 4/5

Very happy how quick I managed to churn out a digital version of my latest Carnotaurus drawing. The cruel red desert along with the meteors really go well with this otherworldly beast. The cracked frame was a gamble but it worked.
