He’s a demon & his scars don’t help him appear approachable. He has an intimidating stature, claws/fangs, & can give off a general aura of “danger”(despite efforts to not).

Kids are kids, tho, & many (in my experience) would hug a rabid lion given the chance. But he’s insecure.
