iPad art IS 100% VALID! having access to digital artwork on a psych ward saved my life this year when traditional art supplies were prohibited due to risk of harm.

art is my safe escape. i can create from my bed when i cant move/sick from meds & in hospital. don’t invalidate.

Spent 30 years not formally diagnosed and struggling HARD. I still struggle (winter ugh) but with meds and therapy I’m doing worlds better and letting executive dysfunction and brain fog ruin my life a lot less. 💪

Art is one of the few things that makes my mind....calm. It’s sort of magic in that way. Drawing is essential in my life with ADHD. If I’m off my meds, it’s the only time my leg stops bouncing, my teeth stop biting my nails, and I feel peaceful!

I'm Recently got "re-diagnosed" after being taken off meds as a child and being told I was just lazy. It's been much easier to enjoy drawing again and work on improving without feeling dejected.

! I do a lot of FFXIV fanart of my OCs, and commissions. Lucky for me art is a fixation for me, so while I may have 4 things going at once, i manage to do them all. ;_; my ADHD diagnosis is new, but it's so nice to know that I'm not just lazy, and meds help!
