basically my method is
1. go slightly darker and redder
2. find where a shadow might be
3. blend the shit out of it

i use a lot of clipping layers before merging each layer. mostly use a mix of a modified csp oil brush + occasionally the 'running colour on fiber' blur tool

"Shredder in Hell" is honestly one of the best comics I have read recently. The exploration of a villain I have loved since childhood.

I legit wasn't expecting Batman VS. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to be so enjoyable, but that was a blast.

Also the most violent and "adult" I've ever seen the Turtles property handled. Neat seeing Shredder actual murder folks and the Turtles getting to swear.
