Whenever someone sees me reading a kid's book & comments, "Aren't you a bit old to be reading that?" I reply: To my mind, one can never outgrow a well-written story or optimism or imagination. You should start reading them again.

#FairyTaleTuesday East of the Sun, West of the Moon is my first and all-time favorite fairytale. It was the first one that caught my imagination. I remember listening to the cassette with a huge poster on the floor - me kneeling or lying on top of it and enjoying it!!!

“The Wanderer” by #PeterVanDenEnde did just that.
It is an utterly stunning wordless picturebook. It’s a story full of bravery, wonder, danger and imagination. Just Wow!
