Thanks to Bureau Chief for 20+ years of covering Park stories, developments, prisons, floods, the ever-shifting political winds and postcards chronicling the overuse of the high peaks. Congratulations on the promotion.

And varying camera angle, how far the camera is pushed in or out, and panel size to emphasize mood, pacing or emotion.
A sequence of close ups in big panels with small changes feel intense but intimate, and a close up in one big panel has impact, etc etc (2/6)

These are all Borderlands related cause it's the last thing I specifically /planned/ comics for (despite still largely being unfinished). I know I have a tendency towards some 'anime paneling; cause old habits die hard, but I also like playing with text and how to imply motion.

Reposting this Nia drawing since I spent forever on it using marker on paper. Not something I do very often and it was a worthwhile time consuming process. I still adore this drawing. Still one of my best marker projects. I love drawing strong emotion.

I tried to do some drawing today... my thumbs still hurt when I try to lift anything, but I'm not in constant pain or anything. So I decided to try and draw something and uh... yeah, I still can't handle the wrist motion.

Botticelli was considered decadent in the 19th C. Indeed Wilde was one of his promoters. Conservative society was uncomfortable with the nudity, the beautiful youths & indeed the suppressed emotion. Today, it is for these reasons he is loved.

I met artists who boast that they don't build a face, but paint right away. All at once with details, light, shadows, beautiful. You are either lying or hacking. Okay, maybe you are the rarest nugget and the only one. But it is not exactly.Or you draw wax figures without emotion.

Some self obligatory self promotion. Hey listen i didn't want to either but your mom said it was a good idea. We play games, we draw, we have a good time, overall the goal is to just have some fun.👍 https://t.co/MLGnKSBmAx

The water god. Orcas leap from the oceans of his arms, gulls pick fish from the surface of his shoulder. Constant motion.
