It’s extra lines for me. Many of DC’s costume designs went thru a period where suits added extra lines like in suit here. Even design had extra padding & armor as opposed to classic, minimalist spandex. Changes aligned w/ functionality & real world physics

Yes, getting a more anime shaded 3D model is tricky but there are many ways to make 3D look 2D such as normal editing, textures, colors, outlines, the mesh, physics type, post processing and so on. I try to emulate 2D on my 3D model using those guidelines and they help!
