[Doodle] Practice
I caved.

I just.. needed to experiment with foreshortening some more.

So many strange, interesting ways to build things.
Though, since the focus was on the fore-ground I kinda ditched the other hand's positioning.

Guilt is me.

The Anti-Hatpin Squad of the New Orleans Police Department was est.1913 after a spate of hatpin woundings in the city. Women wearing with exposed points faced a $10 fine or 5 days in jail. Shops quickly offered free ‘hatpin shortening bureaus’ or sold point covers.

New twitter header! I decided I'd try this year to focus on getting out of my comfort zone with my art and to practice things I don't have a lot of experience with, so gave foreshortening a shot! 🙈

Found this in a Telegram group & recalled that I at one point wanted to do fan art of these characters in a very similar situation. However, I stopped due to a couple of reasons. Just a heads up, this is mostly shorten due to tweet limits, so some details are missing.

End of last year, I could honestly say, "I love my work!" My eye and my hand shift from, "seeing what needs to be changed and the ability to make edits to match my vision." Art takes time, it's apart of growing. Determination shortens the gap at getting better.

Hello have an Equius. I started practicing foreshortening and yeah it turned into horse man. I still love him though with my entire being

Bold of you to think I could stop drawing (this was mostly me messing around with leg foreshortening)

Color block Ryuuko and it’s turning out pretty good. I always had trouble with her costume but this time I got it.

Just some practice on foreshortening! Wanted to give it a shot, as I might use it for a big art project for school.

So what did I do?

I put a sky on top of the plank!

This way the skybox brush hides the rope. It creates the illusion of the shortening rope without the need for any tools except movement.

Commission queue list
https://t.co/nSQdL3PhmH

The list is finally thinning.. Shortening! Working hard on what's left now & will be opening up commissions again for when there's only 4 orders left in the main queue list.

Massive design overhaul for my character Solstice, whom I'm shortening to Sol now. His origins will remain in tact, but the way I go about explaining them will be changed

Now he is a lion, whom I'm basing his namesake and part of his design after the Greek God of the same name

I want to improve dynamic poses, foreshortening, and leave the same face syndrome also I want to actually draw backgrounds xD
I didn't make art in 2015 and 2016 because I was not confident in my art. here's 2018 and 2017 art

Here goes nothin'!

I hope the foreshortening doesn't look too weird 😱

Still working on Miyu! I think I finally decided on a hairstyle I like. Might shorten it a little, but I like the silhouette! ✨ Miyu is 24 and Lillith’s lab partner at the AI institute’s internship.

Wammu! Super, duper old work doodle from 2 years ago. It still kinda holds up 😅 I wasn't used to drawing foreshortening back then.
