Game beat No. 38: Super Metroid (SNES)

Among the best games the SNES has to offer. This game is dear to me and for good reason. Many of the conventions of the Metroidvania genre were born here and the game is still wonderful to play today. Supremely good and highly recommended.

I think we’ve witnessed the future of AAA fan engagement. Conventions will always be important, but FanDome proves you can CREATE a moment, SHARE it across the world, and DOMINATE the news cycle all in one swoop. My fan heart is FULL.
