If more games shifted away from the Male Gaze, perhaps female players could be persuaded to spend more. Female creativity and input are key to any industry. The Wangyou (internet game) is a well established genre, and female authors like FengXingLie have a huge fanbase.

Quick Touhou 5 Mystic Square PC Port Lunatic No-Bomb and Extra No-Bomb clear.

It's a cool port with reduced input lag and replays, but also screws up a bunch of stuff like score calculations, rank, and some patterns so it's unfortunately not viable for actual play :(
