I just adore these weird tape covers.
Though Beach Head II kinda makes it look like the hero is the Karate Kid, a few years later, when he's much more emo, and just got over some really bad substance abuse. 😋

Pearl shell grows with it since birth till death. Can be seen along the beach, eating seashells pieces. Once it was hunted till endangered for its shell, but since the shell loses its shine and crumbles as it die, the snail's population recovers.

You know what I’m love in AoT manga/anime?
AoT makes my brain think and working. So many mindblowing moments, so many details. I’m adore how Isayama build it up from start.
Plus vol. covers. Yeah, it’s just key moments from volumes, but Isayama illustrates them with all passion.

Talking about Space Ghost earlier reminded me of the Space Ghost reboot DC attempted years ago and the best thing to come out of it was Alex Ross did these insane paintings of Space Ghost for the covers.

Another post. This cover has a gritty, almost 70s feel to it (I had to check the release date! It's new!) But the simplicity and contrast pops against more standard, modern looking covers. It would stand out on a shelf. I also love the way the crow is painted.

for comparison, here's some other teams on volume covers. nekoma influenced karasuno the most (i think) and while the nekoma cover is pretty, inarizaki's is superior
