I can’t say Ive ever read a Danger Girl comic.. so Im not sure how good they are, but I do like colouring the art. It is always a lot of fun… has anyone read the books? Are they worth a read?

/inspired by anime openings and mitski's "abbey" playing on repeat for *checks time* five hours.

fun with experiments for Gutless, the I started five years ago. I have other comics priorities atm but it'd be so cool to get it published some day!

The leaf is from MS. Laud Misc. 90, another manuscript digitized under our collaboration. The main text is Hugh of Saint-Victor's De sacramentis christianae fide, book 2. The ex libris is that of the Cisterican abbey of Eberbach, Germany. https://t.co/DrqJKXQ8dg

I saw a stunning watercolour of whitby abbey but forgot to take a pic of the piece and artist name. But decided to have a go imitating it in these quick studies..

Spanish Armada in Scottish waters 1588. Tantallon Castle. El Gran Grifon jammed on Fair Isle. Crew shipped to Anstruther in Fife. Grifon Captain's chest is still held at Newbattle Abbey in Dalkeith. He may have stayed there for a time.
