My first pass on a storyboard, or the beat board, are usually the roughest, scribbliest, stick-figure-iest drawings imaginable, just to get the point across to the directors. Then I like to go back in and tie them down (usually excessively) after notes and reviews.

Here’s the problem I have with hard rules against adverbs & other word cutting assertions that some writers get very militant about.
I feel that what serves the cadences of a sentence swings both ways. Sometimes excess syllables serve to support a poetic rhythm.

i use a purple shade and just. swoop over the top portion of the eyes and then erase the excess. im sure theres an easier way to do that but im dumb. change the opacity as needed
