Throughout IDW Sonic since issue #2, Sonic has been the one pursuing Amy’s time & attention. Amy in IDW has shown not to be chasing Sonic like she used to in the games like Generations & before. SEGA & Sonic Team have changed the Sonamy dynamics from what it used to be.

That stupefied expression Amy is making is loosely based on this Shadamy moment in a Sonamy manga I once pretended to read. I couldn't copy and paste the creator's name using the Pixiv app, but I did screenshot it + comic's title whiles ago. I wish I understood Japanese so badly!
