Dr. Two-Tone!!!🧪
One of the 5 MC's of "DR's"!!
He's an insane, crazy & goofy mad scientist! The literal embodiment of the most cartoony mad scientist you can get!!
Wants to get with his creation Alvellele but she's too dumb to understand!😔

【Sharpkey】The vocal synth of the hour is Yuan Xiao.
One of the vocals available for Sharpkey, Yuan Xiao is a Chinese-capable vocal with a bright feminine tone.

The sheer difference between both Zenith and Silpha’s tone in illustrations. Zen’s often focused too much on his arsenal whereas Sil’s here is more onto her character traits.

WHY, did I wait so long to start reading IDW? I think my love for the Fleetway comics made me worry the tone would be too different for me, but boy was I wrong! Just finished the Neo Metal Arc and I’ve been smiling about it all day!!! Big Respect to Ian Flynn et al!!!

You ain't wrong. This was supposed to be her OG size!
Imagine how the movie would be if they didn't tone her down!

i love how the tone of TOH has changed gradually and how the posters reflect that so well. the first one is all colorful and it has Luz, Eda+King super big because they are the main focus, and the last two everything is so dark and the focus is on all the characters as a whole

"Tag you're it list 4 fave anime and tag 4 people."
These 4 had a big impact on me insofar as how hard you could push a story in terms of tone and subject matter... also they're cool as fuck 🤘

I agree, that's why I made it in a lighter and more saturated tone

To everyone debating the color of ariels skin tone rn:

Something about these two images is REALLY gelling with the tone I want The Mermaid's Quest to have. And I can totally see her doing something like the scene in the first image or having a dream that's like the second one. Ariel's desire to be Human doesn't come close to hers.

@/polarpanda73 (on tumblr) had the idea of an addison with a short nose and human skin tone that just kinda looked like a weird guy, and I drew it.

If you want more Chris Samnee ninja fighting action look no further than Fire Power. While the tone won’t be quite as dour as some Daredevil comics, the stakes and action are right in point, with great supporting characters mirroring many of Frank Miller’s creations

My take on the Fire Emblem character discourse:

I think that what a character’s premise is and what their context is really factors into how people view their designs.

The Engage MCs have two-tone hair and eyes in a universe where that’s not really a thing afaik.1/?
