I'm collabing with on a series of acrylic lollipop charms but we are torn on what style to go with.
A. Translucent with few solid areas, single color style.
B. Translucent only around edge, Limited color pallet.
Which one do you prefer?

Your technique is really good! I think the issue has to do with some areas (the circled ones) needing a little more lighting. Sorta looks a little too dark compared to the rest of the hair.

Personally crayons are mid to low tier coloring utensils. They have a unique texture and style but are awful for filling in spaces since there’s normally lots of white areas on a page that are missed

I was able to tell but don’t be afraid to just experiment, you can actually see with my coloring how areas in covered nub shadow is actually the opposite of the items normal color . Simply duplicate the color layer change the color and e lightly erase, her socks and skirt show it

I selected the green areas and made them slightly bigger on the current frame. then on the frame after I selected the same area and increased their size half as much as what i did on the first frame
