anuzzer character concept for my SOUL SIGNAL game
This is COPPER TURKEY, an undead merchant whose body emits a dangerous & corrupting radiation
He is based on Chalchiuhtotolin- the Aztec god of Plagues (2nd pic reference)
The 4 symbols in the corners are the Aztec symbol for gold

Finally finished this drawing!! Still figuring out his name its either Jaci-the brazillian godess of the moon or Xochiquetzal- the aztec goddess of fertility beauty and female sexual power. Im leaning towards Xochi tho.

My family is catholic and damn this design is godlike!

Also, Smt helped me to know more about this religion. Before then, my perspective as a catholic kid was "God good, Jesus good, Maria good, Satan bad". It also applies with Aztec gods since my family is Mexican.

Yacatecuhtli is the Aztec god of commerce & business travelers. His symbol is a bundle of sticks. To honor him, merchants would travel with sticks. At night they'd tie them together & sprinkle them with blood from their ears. This guaranteed success in sales.

And here is Bre'nan, the bodyguard and closest personal assistant to the cat emperor that I still have no name for.

Trying to mix in Egyptian and Aztec aesthetics.
