i don’t have any experience with alcohol-based pens! but i found a grayscale pack that was suspiciously cheap and these could easily replace ink washes for me. i can see why the high-end ones are so coveted 🥲

quick fyi grayscale challenge means u set your display to black+white only and then try to design a character using a limited colour palette you dont really know!!

it's good contrast/value practice, and really fun with friends!

Still didn't have a lot of progress yet since yesterday fjfjfndndbf but ey, I'm happy with how the skin looks?? I'm surprised at how you can make something that's originally in grayscale/b&w to look this colorful-ish afterwards :'D
