I always drew or requested my fursona to be drawn as agender and more masc, and my sona had short hair long before I even got a hair cut myself. I tried a few times making my sona my assigned gender, but never felt like me. I think my sona helped me discover so much about myself

When I started messing around with gender, and integrating my interests into a new design it finally clicked to me. There are/were other signs to me preferring male pronouns/being trans but playing with fursona designs definitely helped me realize myself
