Possibly. Even a slight saturation change or video artifacts can hugely change Murdoc's skin tone. I was always under the impression this Murdoc was green based on the Punk visual, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all going off the recently-released digital version

That does seem possible since there's a couple of weird colour variants of early p2 murdocs floating around that show him as more of a yellow. But it's hard to verify since we don't have the original quality images, and video screencaps may have slight colour filters

the alternate colored p1 murdoc actually has a really similar shade of green to the alternate version of the murdoc used in the bands p1 introduction booklet. both are really early p1 art, i wonder if jamie was experimenting w colors and almost went with this color instead of tan

something that i like about song machine is the parallel between désolé and TLC. while i prefer the band having conflict and murdoc being a piece of shit, i liked the progression of him being purposely excluded from things to what happened between him & 2D at the end of TLC

In phase 6, 2d has been telling murdoc to be more positive and look for a brighter future etc in radios and interviews. He feels bad for Murdoc and wants to help "free" him. This scene at the last of the Lost chord really summerised the two's relationship throughout phase5 ~6.
