So narutofoxlover on tumblr suggested Chase as a strawberry finch and I’ve fallen in love all over again (more drawings in the replies)
A few example of accurate feathered dinosaur character designs done by people fully aware of their source materials. The artists are Marty Kevil and Finchwing:

@sygnin Thanks for this! ^^
Junebug is a little dragon who loves to go hiking in the forest, draw trees, and play with bugs. He doesn't have a partner, but his best friend is a big frost dragon named Finch c:
When I first designed Finch, I based him off of an Oriole bird. I think I was also inspired by the Rito from Wind Waker too, at least for the nose.
I just finished a new drawing for him and I updated him a bit. I'm looking forward to posting it eventually.
I've always had an urge to redesign Finch as my tastes in design change, but I've always been hesitant to drift too far from what she is. I am never content >:V
came across these old seasonal redesigns for Finch I was playing with, but was too chicken to go with them so redesigned them and made them into new characters y__y I still love these though
Hi friends. Sorry if this is a bit heavy. It has been really hard for me to do art lately... I've been chipping away at this #ATLA piece, because Finch would have wanted me to keep drawing. He always talked about how cool it was, and I gotta live up to that. Progress. ❤️🐉🔥⚡️
These works were all completed by Finchrot from Instagram! Donators in order are @greykrow1 and @bunnhunnVT

If you get the reference, and you know that (the) David Fincher directed the video, congratulations, you are old. Pics to revive you from your old man slumber. Kinky...
Little chibi for @Finchwing ! I’ve wanted to draw Finch for a long time, I love her design! I’m a sucker for simple markings. 🥰💕#ArtistOnTwitter
