@AlasdairStuart super niche, but: Libellule from the Gil Jourdan franco-belgian comics. Pickpocket turned PI, constantly guffawing at his own puns (ranging from the very bad to brilliant), he was my favourite as a kid and now I can't stop thinking I'd love hearing or seeing you play him :D
