@AbyssalMoono @fwameyyy They’re probably referring to how there’s no highlights in them. Eyes are wet, glossy surfaces so they reflect light really well. They end up looking flat and empty without the reflected light in them (also I pointed the pupils more but that’s just my personal preference lol)

The way Adora is looking at Catra's lips in this scene and her pupils are so dilated (her eyes seem completely black). Catra knows what Adora is focused on so she moves her head a bit making Adora to move her eyes and they make eye contact again (her eyes go back to normal).
@Gem24660512 Actually The Blue-Hair and Blue-Pupils one is Sehiku (my Sonic OC) when she was young, Before She was Scarred on her eyes then Burned alive, the Black-Haired and Red-Pupils one is Sehiku by now 🙄
