Illustration: Lily Wong
New York-based illustrator Lily Wong references the visual language of East Asian image-making in her works on paper, weaving multiple narratives that are rich in coded symbolism: https://t.co/8vAUqGDd3z
The backgrounds of Bambi are simply masterpieces when it comes to background art in animation. I love the influence Tyrus Wong had on this film and his take on nature cannot be compared.
Kahn/Khan Wong (Fei's father) !

Watched Enter The Fat Dragon (2020) silly & slapstick but fun & frenetic Action/Comedy film that's a remake of the classic '78 Sammo Hung Bruce Lee tribute film. Starring Donnie Yen (with fat suit) in a role that sends up his action image a bit & the director Wong Jing himself👍
Peter Pan, (1924). The movie was directed by Herbert Brenon and starred Betty Bronson, Esther Ralston, Virginia Brown Faire, Ernest Torrence, and Anna May Wong. The film was lost for decades until a copy was found in the vault of the Eastman School of Music (c. 1950's)
