Ngl that surprise twist in the middle there caught me off guard but it was funny. Before then felt a bit too cliche so I'm glad it got grounded bit.
Kinda expected the animation quality to be a bit higher, but the visuals are still pretty.

自分にとってエヴァも少年少女の物語であった欲しかった。
ただ旧劇はそうは見えるが、そうであったかは言い切れない。
新劇は違う方向性になっていた。
ANIMAは間違い無く、子供達が大人達を乗り越えていく物語。

なのでコミック版、鋼鉄のガールフレンド2nd 2巻でのアスカのセリフがとても好き。
