i learned a new technique in photoshop by using multiply layer on my paper sketch, i chosen my design of Bluestar and even added little Firepaw too

it was fun to make and i hope to do more 😉✨

I learned of a new shading technique called "dithering" and wanted to try it out for myself. And... I REALLY like how the lineless one of this pair turned out! :D

+ only 1 special layer <overlay/hardlight/multiply/.. whichever you want> for making tits look bigger

This very specific way of shading... when I just add a multiply layer and erase where the shadow isn't. Also multiply layer is 99% guaranteed to be magenta

I'm glad you like it! when I'm colouring I have seperate layers for flat colours(1st photo) and lighting(2). Then I set the lighting layer on multiply mode and merge them together(3). After that I was shading with pinkish purple.

last jhonny drawing was pretty heavy on layer effects, here's one without the multiply layer and with the original bg, looks cooler in my opinion now that I see it with the whole manga cover style on it. Whatevs, I'll just drop it here bc I can't decide!

thought this might be interesting to share, here's the layers for the shading! 1st pic is a multiply layer with all the main shadows, 2nd pic is blue ambient light (soft light, 50%), 3rd pic is the tentacles because they're special and get their own layer (set to overlay)
